Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Mohni, we take pride in the quality of our product. Since Achaari Murg (Boneless Chicken Pickle) is a perishable food item prepared in small batches, our refund and cancellation policy is designed to be fair while accounting for the nature of our product.
1. Order Cancellation
a) Cancellation by You
- Before dispatch: You may cancel your order free of charge if it has not yet been dispatched. To cancel, email us at mohniachaar@gmail.com or call +91 96001 60867 with your order number.
- After dispatch: Once your order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. Since we ship a perishable product, we are unable to accept returns in transit.
b) Cancellation by Us
We reserve the right to cancel an order in the following situations:
- Product is out of stock or unavailable
- Delivery address is unserviceable by our logistics partners
- Suspected fraudulent or duplicate order
- Pricing or technical errors on the website
If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
2. Refund Eligibility
We offer refunds or replacements in the following situations:
a) Damaged or Broken Jar on Arrival
If your jar arrives broken, leaking, or visibly damaged during transit:
- Action: Full replacement or full refund (your choice)
- Requirement: You must notify us within 24 hours of delivery with clear photos of the damaged product and packaging

b) Wrong Product or Missing Items
If you receive the wrong variant (e.g., 300g instead of 500g) or your order is incomplete:
- Action: We will ship the correct/missing item at no additional cost, or issue a full refund
- Requirement: Notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of what you received
c) Quality Concerns
If you believe the product has a quality issue (unusual odour, appearance, or taste that suggests spoilage):
- Action: We will investigate and offer a replacement or refund at our discretion
- Requirement: Notify us within 48 hours of delivery. Do not discard the product — we may request photos or ask you to return it for inspection
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- Change of mind after the product has been dispatched or delivered
- Product spoilage due to improper storage (e.g., refrigeration, using a wet spoon, leaving the jar open)
- Taste or flavour preference (our product has a bold, spiced flavour profile that may not suit everyone)
- Delay in reporting issues beyond the timelines specified above
- Providing an incorrect or incomplete delivery address that leads to non-delivery
4. Refund Process
- Step 1: Contact us at mohniachaar@gmail.com or +91 96001 60867 with your order number, a description of the issue, and supporting photos.
- Step 2: Our team will review your request and respond within 2 business days.
- Step 3: If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. Replacement shipments will be dispatched within 3 business days of approval.
Note: Refund processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
5. Partial Refunds
In certain situations, we may offer a partial refund (e.g., if a product is partially damaged but still usable). This will be communicated to you before processing.
